IronPython and NumPy

IronPython users, here is an information about using numpy (from IronPython), I guess it could be useful for you.

Let me remember you once again: the only one dependence for OpenOpt is NumPy.

Hi there - I hope you don't mind me posting here a direct link to the project Travis Oliphant and I were discussing on the page you linked to.

The problem with NumPy on IronPython is that NumPy is a Python C extension, and those don't work with IronPython. The IronClad project that we're working on is an open source project (albeit initially commercially motivated) to get all of these C extensions working for all IronPython applications.
